In recent years, it is difficult not to cross in his own street.

So what do you do when you want to wear white while standing out with subtlety?

We designed the shoe that not everyone has, it will make you unique and privileged with your entourage.

Feeling good in your sneakers

From an Italian tannery, the perforated leather lining provides a soft and supple feel, making this sneaker a real glove for your feet.

You'll notice the leather softening after several days of use, which is perfectly normal: it's a guarantee of quality, while allowing the leather skin to adapt to your morphology.

Classy and festive

Depending on where you are going and who you are meeting, it is essential to have high end shoes.

The designer sneaker, with one of two lace colors to match your mood, can be paired with jeans or a dress and worn day and night, in all circumstances between client meetings and outings. The perfect compromise.

The butterfly

The silhouette of the insect, embodying freedom and movement, is at the heart of the brand. Its crown originates from the heraldry of the Renaissance barons.

This discreet logo, embossed with two gold-plated "pal vergette" lines, was designed in collaboration with a French jewelry house. It took many steps to achieve this elegant result.

A customization made to measure

Customization is a tradition inherited from the great luxury houses. Lucie Monin, a gilding artist in Paris, uses an ancestral technique for a 22k gold or silver hot stamping with the symbol of your choice.

Your initials are marked only on the right foot.

Well-made

The material is the basis of the craft work: without beautiful material, no beautiful product. This is why we leave nothing to chance: the quality of the leather used is a fair compromise between flexibility and rigidity.

Just like the inner lining, the upper is made of calf leather from Italy. It will have a long life ahead of it with a beautiful patina.

Première de propreté — Clean insole

It is the product of our secret alchemy of calf leather and cork with sanitizing herbal inserts. In addition to smelling good, the latter improve foot hygiene by promoting aeration and absorbing moisture.

In other words, perspiration is limited to a minimum and the sneakers can be worn barefoot without unpleasant odor.

This sole is also removable, allowing you to replace it if necessary.

Semelle extérieure — Sole

Paris, at Baron Papillon, is the Place de l'Étoile. We took back our unique design scrupulously retracing the square and the avenues that lead to it.

Concerning the composition, we had a demanding specification for our new Portuguese supplier:

- our sole is 75% recycled using rubber scraps,
- composed of 20% natural rubber
- and 5% synthetic rubber.

The high abrasion coefficient guarantees a high durability. Its 3 cm height protects the upper from friction.

A balanced production

Sensitive to environmental issues, we have always wanted sneakers to be elegant and astute, but also in line with slow fashion.

We adhere to the principle of « zero destruction » of our unsold stock and we continue developing creative processes for researching European based materials that respect the environment while associating ourselves in collaborative eco projects.

Made in France

Upstream, we work on the elaboration of the first prototypes in Montjean-sur-Loire:

- Final drawing and choice of materials by our artistic director Eric Gallais
- First prototype in the design office
- Once this one is validated, we move on to the stitching stage, i.e. the production of the rods

Then it is the assembly of the soles with the stem:

- Hot glued with a machine specially designed for our Barons
- Cold sewn with the sewing machine of our grandmothers

Finally the final preparation :

- Inserting the laces
- Placement of the herbal sole
- Recovery of the upcycled boxes to put our sneakers in

By manufacturing in France, we shorten our production time, we reduce our carbon footprint, we contribute to strengthen our local expertise. And we are proud of our know-how.

Managed Upcycling

And we continue. Our vintage shoe boxes are made from an old stock that was fabricated in France in the 80’s to which added our logo.
